As the Grand Costume event, the Met Gala is round the corner, scheduled to take place on the 5th of May this year, fashionistas and fashion enthusiasts can't seem to contain their excitement. Looking forward to some stellar appearances this year, the gala is sure to leave everyone baffled and surprised with unique fashion and style. While we hover and wait for this year's gala, let's take a look back at the time when Bollywood’s stunning diva made an impersonate appearance at the event.
Back in 2019, at the Met Gala event, Priyanka Chopra stunned everyone with her costume as she walked the carpet with her husband Nick Jonas by her side. Dressed in a grey-yellow- pink gown, with her hair tight in frothy curls, the actress surely had some head turn at the event. Living up to the year's theme, the actress beautifully paired her gown with grey eyebrows and white lined eyes, making her look among the major highlights of the evening.
In a throwback video that surfaced on the internet, the actress is seen attending the event. In the grand costume party, she can be seen speaking about her costume, referring to it as “as amalgamation of cultures” that represent her.
Priyanka was also quick to realise that it was Nick’s and her anniversary as it was at this grand Met Gala that the two had first made their first public appearance the previous year (2018).
The actress is sure to mark her presence yet again this year and fans can't seem to contain their excitement as they look forward to Priyanka's awe-striking appearance at the gala this year.

On the work front, Priyanka was also seen in some of the best releases of that year, including Shonali Bose’s ‘Sky is Pink’, which also starred Farhan Akhtar, Zara Wasim and Rohit Saraf in lead roles. The actress is now reportedly involved in various projects, including the SS Rajamouli's magnum opus with Mahesh Babu.
