The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has declared the results for the WB Higher Secondary (HS) examination today at 12.30 PM in a press conference. Students who appeared in the WBCHSE class 12 exams will be able to access their marksheets 2 PM onwards from the board’s official websites. Based on the performance of the students this year, the overall pass percentage for WB HS 2025 has been recorded at 90.79%.
While students from Arts stream have emerged with the lowest passing percentage of 88.25% among all the streams.Also See: WB HS Result 2025 | How to Access WB Class 12th MarksheetLast year, the overall percentage for WB HS Arts stream was recorded at 88.2%. While students have shown an improvement as compared to last year, the overall percentage is still the lowest among all three streams. To check their West Bengal HS results 2025, students will have to login to the official websites, wbresults.nic.in and wbchse.wb.gov.in using their board roll number.
West Bengal Class 12th Toppers 2025
The WBCHSE has released the merit list for Higher Secondary top performers. As per the list, Rupayan Pal of Burdwan CMS High School has emerged as the state topper by scoring 497 out of 500, obtaining a score of 99.4%. Check top 4 performers in WB HS exams 2025 below:

This year, over 4.8 Lakh students registered and 4.7 Lakh appeared for the WBCHSE class 12th exams. Out of these, 4,30,286 students passed, marking the overall pass percentage at 90.79%.
