RSSB Librarian 2025: The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has confirmed that the written examination for the Librarian Grade III Direct Recruitment 2024 will be held on July 27, 2025.

A total of 548 posts—including 483 in non-scheduled areas and 65 in scheduled areas—are being filled under the Rajasthan Sanskrit Education and Secondary Education Services Rules.As part of its recruitment process, the Board had earlier invited online applications. However, it has now issued a press release allowing a final opportunity for ineligible candidates to withdraw their applications. This withdrawal period is being re-opened for three days, from June 26 to June 28, 2025, through the official portal.Final withdrawal chance for unqualified candidatesThe RSSB noted that some applicants had submitted their forms without possessing the prescribed educational qualifications, including the required certificate for the Librarian Grade III post. These candidates had previously been given a 7-day window to withdraw, but some did not act within the time limit.To ensure fairness and avoid legal complications, the Board is offering a last opportunity to withdraw applications from the system.

Legal action will be taken against candidates who are later found ineligible and did not opt for withdrawal during this final window.Examination to be held under revised recruitment rulesThe recruitment is being conducted under the amended Rajasthan Sanskrit Education State and Subordinate Service (School Branch) Rules, 2015, Rajasthan Education (State and Subordinate) Service Rules, 2021, and Rajasthan Scheduled Area Subordinate, Ministerial and Class IV Service Rules, 2014.Candidates must note that the original advertisement, numbered 18/2024 and dated December 11, 2024, remains applicable, except for the added withdrawal provision. All other terms and conditions are unchanged.
