They also expressed support for banning Pakistani actors from working in India, especially as tensions between the two countries escalate.In their latest interview, Rao and Sapru expressed disappointment with the reactions coming in from Pakistani actors.

The director duo, also expressed their full support for the Indian government's decision to bar Pakistani actors to work in India. "Not a single rupee should be paid. Not a single minute of our time as a nation should be offered. Not a single Indian platform should engage with them," they said and added, "What matters most is our nation and the welfare of our people."
Harshvardhan Rane Refuses to Work in Sequel
On Saturday, actor Harshvardhan Rane said he wouldn’t want to be part of a 'Sanam Teri Kasam' sequel if Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane is involved. His statement came after Mawra posted a tweet criticizing the Indian armed forces’ Operation Sindoor.On Saturday, actor Harshvardhan took to Instagram to write, "While I am grateful for the experience, however, as things stand, and after reading the direct comments made about my country, I have made a decision to respectfully decline to be a part of Sanam Teri Kasam Part 2 if there is any possibility of the previous cast being repeated."On the other hand, Mawra had posted on X (formerly Twitter), "Strongly condemn India’s cowardly attack on Pakistan… Innocent civilians have lost their lives… May Allah protect us all… May sense prevail… Ya Allah ho Ya Hafizo."More about the filmThe romantic drama, directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru and produced by Deepak Mukut, marked the Hindi film debuts of Rane and Hocane.
