In the conversation, Priya opened up about her bond with Karisma Kapoor’s children, the complexities of merging families, and Sunjay’s enduring passion for polo.In a conversation on the YouTube channel Kin and Kindness, Priya reflected on Sunjay Kapur’s previous marriage to Karisma Kapoor. She shared that Sunjay often travelled from Delhi to Mumbai to be with Karisma and their children. Priya recalled meeting him on one of those flights, which sparked a friendship that eventually blossomed into marriage after his divorce from Karisma.She shared that Sunjay’s previous marriage wasn’t a conventional one, but it brought two beautiful children into the world. She expressed her affection for them and said they now share a loving, blended family.Priya revealed that after marrying Sunjay Kapur, her daughter Safira from her previous marriage to Vikram Chatwal moved in with them. She admitted the adjustment was initially challenging, especially with house rules, but encouraged Sunjay to build a direct bond with Safira.

Over time, the two developed a strong and close relationship.Explaining their family dynamics, Priya shared that they are a blended family of four children—Samaira, Safira, Kiaan, and her and Sunjay’s son, Azarias. She said Azarias became the bond that tied everyone together, being a connection between both sides. She also mentioned that Samaira and Safira share a particularly close bond and that over time, the entire family has grown to love and appreciate one another.She also added that while she doesn’t see herself as a mother to Karisma’s children, she cherishes the special place she holds in their lives. She shared that they have built a meaningful bond, often talking about everything from fun and lighthearted moments to more serious conversations.Sachdev also spoke about Sunjay's deep passion for polo, calling it a major part of their lives. She shared that the family would relocate to England for part of the year while Sunjay played professional 22 High Gold Polo. Conveniently, her daughter’s boarding school was nearby, and their younger son attended different schools in India and the UK. Despite the seasonal move, she said they always returned to India together, as their business remained rooted here.
