NEW DELHI: South African all-rounder
Wiaan Mulder
on Thursday replaced England's Brydon Carse in the
Sunrisers Hyderabad
squad for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League.
Carse was ruled out of
IPL 2025
after sustaining a toe injury during the Champions Trophy.
Mulder, aged 27, recently played in the Champions Trophy semi-final against New Zealand on Wednesday and will join the 2016 IPL champions SRH for Rs 75 lakh.

"Carse is ruled out of the IPL 2025 due to an injury and his replacement Mulder, who is an all-rounder, will join SRH for Rs 75 Lakh," the IPL said in a release.
The Proteas all-rounder has represented his country in 18 Tests, 25 ODIs, and 11 T20 International matches.
Carse, who was part of England's Champions Trophy squad, sustained the toe injury during their match against Australia.
