(ASTU) has extended the deadline for online registration for the

Combined Entrance Examination

(

CEE

) 2025 until March 9, 2025. Candidates aspiring to pursue B.Tech programs can apply on the official website astu.ac.in. Initially, the application deadline was set for February 27, 2025. According to an official notice from ASTU, the decision to extend the deadline was made during the 5th Cell Committee Meeting of CEE-2025, held on February 25, 2025. The notice also mentions that the fee payment facility for candidates has been extended until the new deadline.

Assam CEE 2025 Exam Details

The Assam CEE 2025 will take place on April 27, 2025, from 11 AM to 2 PM. This exam is conducted for admission to the first semester of B.Tech programs in engineering colleges across Assam. To be eligible, candidates must have secured at least 45% in their Class 12 exams or completed a three-year diploma in Engineering and Technology with the same minimum percentage. AHSEC board exam toppers are granted direct admission and are exempted from the exam. The age limit for applicants is between 17 and 21 years, with relaxations available for reserved category candidates.

Assam CEE 2025: Exam Pattern & Selection Process

The Assam CEE 2025 will be based on the syllabus prescribed by the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC). The exam will be a single-paper, three-hour test comprising Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Each subject will have 40 questions, making a total of 120 questions. The marking scheme awards four marks for each correct answer, while one mark is deducted for each incorrect response.
