Who is Sonu Kakkar?

Born on October 20, 1979, in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, Sonu Kakkar grew up in a small rented house with her parents and two younger siblings. Their family faced financial hardships, with her father working as a samosa vendor outside a school. Sonu began singing bhajans at jagrans at a very young age, not just for devotion but to earn a little money to help her family get by. Her voice is so soulful, it became her strength even before she understood its power.
