For more than 30 years, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan have been at the top of their careers, and despite all the competition, they cherish a close friendship. They never miss a chance to show support to one another, and at the same time, they never shy away from teasing one another.
An example of the same was seen in 2013, when Shah Rukh discussed Aamir's "conscientious" work ethic and joked that the 'Lagaan' star is extremely careful about everything, including drinking tea.
The Great Tea Debate
Shah Rukh claimed in the interview with Aaj Tak that once, while flying together, Aamir ordered some tea with milk, and he ordered some black coffee while they were traveling together. Aamir advised them to wait until the tea had sufficiently developed color, when the steward asked if they could add some milk.
Building up on the incident, Shah Rukh joked that when Aamir comes over to his place and takes too long to decide on tea or coffee, he says - "Kal bata dena yaar, hum ghoom ke aa rahe hain" (Let me know tomorrow, and we'll go out until then).“I’m yet to meet a person who is so conscientious and seriously conscientious about his work,” he continued, praising Aamir's efforts.
No Films Together, But Mutual Admiration
Aamir and Shah Rukh have never co-starred in a movie in their lengthy careers.
Shah Rukh did, however, make a cameo in Aamir's Laal Singh Chaddha last year. "Shah Rukh is a friend, and I told him that I needed someone who could represent what Elvis represented in America and is the biggest iconic star in India, which is why I'm coming to you," Aamir stated during the film's promotional campaign.Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan's friendship is based on a profound respect for one another, despite their humorous exchanges. Even celebrities value simple laughs and enduring relationships, as evidenced by their funny moments, which continue to delight fans and provide infrequent glimpses into the friendship between two of Bollywood's biggest icons.
