He recounted that one evening, he and his group of friends were hanging out at
Soho House
when they happened to bump into Shah Rukh Khan. Like most people, they were instantly struck by his presence and charisma. To their surprise and delight, Shah Rukh greeted them warmly and even invited them over to Mannat for an after-party once they wrapped up their evening.
Siddhant mentioned that he was initially hesitant because he was with his entire group of close friends — his "laundas" as he fondly called them. When he expressed this to Shah Rukh, the superstar replied in his signature witty style, saying, “Tum launde ho, to hum bhi Jawan hain.” That humorous remark sealed the deal, and the entire gang ended up going to Mannat that night.
Among the group was Siddhant’s friend, who had brought a date along that evening. Coincidentally, it was her birthday, and they were hoping for a special, intimate night together. They all wished her, and instead of spending time alone, she ended up being swept into the grand setting of Mannat and partying with Shah Rukh Khan until 4:30 in the morning.
Siddhant recalled that his friend was over the moon by the end of the night, convinced that things were going well with the girl and that this evening might have brought them closer. But Siddhant had a different feeling. He told his friend that it probably wouldn’t work out between them — after all, how does one top meeting Shah Rukh Khan on the very first date?
As it turned out, his instincts were right. The relationship didn’t blossom beyond that night, and Siddhant joked that he might have accidentally sabotaged his friend’s date. While it didn’t work out romantically for his friend, the evening remained one of those rare, once-in-a-lifetime stories — one where Shah Rukh Khan, as always, stole the show.
