Kangana Ranaut visits flood-affected areas in Himachal Pradesh, promises to brief Prime Minister Narendra Modi

The people of Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi District are currently going through a very challenging time. The recent cloudburst and floods have heavily affected the life and property of the place.

The entire nation is praying for Himachal to heal soon, and amid this, actress and politician Kangana Ranaut paid a visit to the flood-affected terrains and expressed her concern.

Taking to her social media handle, the actress shared some pictures and expressed how disheartening the site was. She also promised that she would look into the matter and would brief Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the current situation in Himachal.“Today, I visited the disaster-affected areas of Karsog Assembly in Mandi Lok Sabha.

I took stock of the devastation caused by cloudbursts at all three locations — Sanarli, Kutti, and Meghli (Karsog Old Market). I am deeply saddened to see the loss of lives, livestock, property, and livelihoods. I will be sharing detailed information about this natural calamity with the Honourable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi ji, and every possible assistance will be provided to all the affected families," Kangana shared on her social media handle on Sunday.

Before this, she visited another flood-affected terrain of the state and wrote - “Today, I visited the disaster-affected areas of Seraj Assembly in Mandi Lok Sabha. Thunag and Lambathach have suffered extensive damage due to this natural calamity. I consoled those who lost their loved ones in this tragedy and assured them that we stand firmly with them in this hour of grief. Every possible assistance is being extended to the affected families, and we remain ever committed to serving them.

For the unversed, reports suggest that around 14 people lost their lives because of the natural calamity, and over 200 roads have been blocked in the state.
