.!', 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan', 'Sultan', 'Kick', 'Tiger Zinda Hai', and 'Dabangg'. Known for his charismatic screen presence, Salman has also been the subject of various rumours about his professionalism, particularly concerning his punctuality on set.Salman on rumours of arriving late on film setsEarlier this year, Salman addressed these rumours in an interview with India Today Digital, where he clarified misconceptions about his work ethic and arrival times for shoots.
He firmly stated, “There are many stories about me coming late and not being serious about my work. I have done more than 100 films, more than anyone else apart from my senior actors. It wouldn’t be possible to achieve this if I were constantly late or leaving early.
” Salman further explained that while he maintains strict discipline, his working hours differ from the norm. “There is a discipline 100 per cent, but my timings are different.
Some people start working at 6 am, I start around 11:30-12 because I've got a lot of other work to do, like signing a lot of papers, making calls, and working out. Then I have to come back, relax, have my coffee, and understand the scene.” He also mentioned how once he arrives on set, he remains fully engaged without distractions. No prayers for hits, Just honest workIn the same candid interview, Salman opened up about his approach to the success of his films. He revealed that unlike many actors who fervently pray for their projects to succeed, he does not actively pray for a film's success.
“I was just thinking today, have I ever prayed for a film to become a success? I don't think that apart from 'Maine Pyaar Kiya', I have ever prayed for a film to be a hit. But, I know, my mother, sister and my loved ones must be doing that.
” He further emphasised that his focus is on delivering work that audiences enjoy rather than obsessing over box office results. “The only thing that matters is that people should enjoy your work.
I don't come in as saying that I'm one of the best actors in the country. I don't do that.”Salman Khan was last seen in the action drama ‘Sikandar’, directed by A.R. Murugadoss and featuring Rashmika Mandanna and Kajal Aggarwal. Despite high expectations, the film underperformed at the box office. It was later released on OTT platforms on 25 May, giving fans another chance to watch it.
