WBCHSE Class 12th Result 2025: 72 Students in Top Ten, Pass Rate for Commerce Stream at 97.52%

The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has announced the results for Higher Secondary (HS) examinations today, May 7 in a press conference held at Vidyasagar Bhavan, Salt Lake, Kolkata. As per the details released by the WBCHSE authorities, the overall pass percentage for class 12th exams has been recorded at 90.79%. This year, male students have outperformed female students, with an overall percentage of 93%.

How did commerce students perform in WBCHSE exams 2025?

Surpassing the last year’s number, this year, 72 candidates have secured their place in the top 10 merit list for WB HS results 2025. A total of 30,887 students from the Commerce stream appeared in the West Bengal HS exams. Out of these, 30,120 students have qualified, making the pass percentage 97.52%. The students have shown a remarkable improvement in the WB HS examinations.

The overall percentage in WB HS exams 2025 has seen an increase of 0.79% from last year, making this year’s pass rate at 90.79%. Purba Medinipur has emerged as the best performing district in West Bengal with a pass rate of 95.74%.
