. One of his security guards pulled out his gun on the fan, who had inadvertently entered the actor's side of the vehicle.
The actor, who was en route from a shoot in Kodaikanal, was surrounded by a crowd of well-wishers when the incident occurred. The video has since gone viral on the internet, with fans expressing concern for both the elderly man and the actor.
Unexpected fan encounter
The video, posted on X (formerly Twitter), shows Vijay stepping out of his vehicle when an older man dashed forward, apparently attempting to greet him. Mistaking the gesture as a potential threat, one of Vijay’s bodyguards swiftly pulled out his gun and aimed it momentarily at the man before tucking it back. The fan was subsequently pushed aside by the security personnel.

Vijay proceeded directly into the terminal without reacting to the incident. The clip has since sparked a mix of concern and criticism online. Fortunately, the fan was unarmed and his intentions were genuine.
