Directed by Venu Yeldandi in his debut, the film revolves around the death of an elderly villager, Komurayya, whose passing sparks emotional upheaval within his family. GV Babu’s role added depth and authenticity to the film, which was praised for its portrayal of family dynamics and rural life.
ETimes review for the film read, “While the story is the film’s stronghold, its creative and technical team needs a special mention.
Right from the aerial shot that leads the viewer into a tile-roofed home introducing the old man, the movie has several simple yet effective cinematic frames. Intertwining and weaving verse and music into the story to establish the rural artistic and cultural practices is genius.”
