 Businessman's teammate pays emotional tribute; says 'You left this world doing what you loved'

Following the sudden passing of industrialist and polo enthusiast Sunjay Kapur, tributes poured in from family and friends, including his teammates, who remembered him not just as a sportsman but as a 'good man'.Among the most heartfelt messages was one from polo player Tomas Panelo, who took to Instagram to share a touching note in memory of Kapur. Sharing a black and white photo of Kapur looking cheery as he ran on the field, he penned a moving note that read, “SUNJAY KAPUR... FAMILY, CALM, FUNNY, FANATIC FOR SPORTS, but the most important, GOOD PEOPLE! These are the words that come to my head when I remember you. Panelo went on to share what he told Kapur's grieving wife, Priya.

He wrote, "I told your wife Priya that you left this world doing what you loved — your passion — running up and down the field on top of a grey horse. We will miss you a lot, SJ. We will never forget you. Thank you for everything. Rest in peace.”

Another teammate, Mark T., also shared a photo from the field, captioned simply, “Missing you man.”

Kapur, breathed his last on June 12 after reportedly suffering a heart attack during a polo match in London.

While initial reports suggested a cardiac arrest, other reports also alleged that Sunjay died after he swallowed a bee.Sunjay Kapur’s funeral is scheduled to take place in New Delhi, on Thursday, June 19 at 5 pm. His grieving family has organised a prayer meeting on June 22.Sunjay is survived by his wife Priya Sachdev, their son Azarias, and his two children from his previous marriage with actor Karisma Kapoor — Samaira and Kiaan.
