Sunjay Kapur funeral: Karisma and kids offer floral tributes

The final rites of industrialist Sunjay Kapur, who passed away on June 12 at the age of 53, were held in New Delhi, drawing close family and loved ones to pay their last respects. Among them were his ex-wife, actor Karisma Kapoor, and their children, Samaira and Kiaan, who offered heartfelt floral tributes in a moving goodbye. A video doing rounds on social media shows Karisma dressed in a white suit as she paid a floral tribute to Sunjay at his funeral. Standing by her side were their children, Samaira and Kiaan, who also joined her in offering their final respects. The emotional moment captured the three rising together after placing their tributes. Several family members and well-wishers were present at the funeral, which was held at the Lodhi Road Cremation Ground in New Delhi.Earlier on Thursday, Karisma was seen at Mumbai's private airport with her children, Samaira and Kiaan, as they left for Delhi to attend Sunjay Kapur’s funeral. A few hours later, her sister Kareena Kapoor was also spotted at the airport, accompanied by her husband, actor Saif Ali Khan.

Meanwhile, a prayer meeting for Sunjay Kapur is scheduled to be held on June 22 from 4 PM to 5 PM at the Taj Palace Hotel in Delhi, according to a note circulating on social media.

The message is signed by his mother, Rani Surinder Kapur; his wife, Priya; and their children Safira and Azarias. It also includes the names of his children with ex-wife Karisma Kapoor—Samaira and Kiaan.Sunjay Kapur reportedly suffered a heart attack during a polo match in London.
