In April, the woman's distressing symptoms had persisted for several days. She complained not only of hearing sounds but also of an unsettling sensation of movement within her ear. The relentless clicking and rustling sounds prevented her from getting restful sleep during this period, UPI reported.
Upon a thorough examination, medical professionals made a startling discovery. Inside the woman's ear canal, they found a small

along with its discarded exoskeleton. To address this unusual and potentially distressing situation, doctors utilized a suction tube to safely remove the tiny arachnid and its exoskeleton.

What's particularly noteworthy about this case is that despite the presence of the spider within her ear, the woman did not experience any significant pain or discomfort. The spider's size, measuring only 2 to 3 millimeters (about .08 to .1 inches), likely contributed to the absence of severe discomfort.
