NEW DELHI: The Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection has released the
RSMSSB Forest Guard Final Result 2020
on March 15. Candidates who were involved in the Forest Guard Recruitment 2020 process can check and download the final result from the official website at rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in.

"Under the Rajasthan Forest Subordinate Services Rules, 2015 and Rajasthan Scheduled Area Subordinate, Ministerial and Class IV Services (Recruitment and other conditions of service) Rules, 2014 for the Forest Department of Rajasthan, 2167 forest guards in non-scheduled areas and 479 in scheduled areas have been appointed by the Board.
A release for recruitment to a total of 2646 vacant posts was issued by the Board on 11.11.2020 and revised release on 11.03.2022 and 21.12.2022," reads the official notification.

How to download RSMSSB Forest Guard Final Result 2020?
Step 1: Go to the official website at rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in
Step 2: On the homepage, go to Result section and click on "Forest Guard 2020: Final Recommendation and Cut Off Marks."
Step 3: A PDF will open on the screen, go through the information given therein.
Step 4: Download the PDF and take its printout for further use.

The examination result of this recruitment was released on September 18, 2023, double checking of eligibility of the candidates against the category wise advertised posts on the basis of preference and verification of documents was done by the Forest Department from September 25 to October 02, 2023. After checking the eligibility, among the candidates found eligible, a total of 1709 candidates, 1291 from non-scheduled area and 418 from scheduled area, were finalised on the basis of preference according to category-wise vacant posts by the Board's office.
In the Forest Guard Direct Recruitment Examination-2020, the final selection has been made category wise on the basis of the preferences of a total of 87 candidates, 71 from the non-scheduled area and 16 from the scheduled area from the waiting list of posts that remained vacant due to non-joining of posts of Forest Guard in the Forest Guard Direct Recruitment Examination-2020.
The list of candidates finally selected by the Board has been released to the Forest Department, Jaipur for appointment. Roll numbers and cut-off marks of the finally selected candidates are now available on the official website of RMSSB.
