Nani’s HIT 3 crosses US $2 million in North America, eyes break-even in the first week

has emerged as a box office winner in North America. The action-thriller directed by Sailesh Kolanu , which opened to positive reviews and strong word of mouth, has crossed the coveted $2 million milestone at the North American box office within its opening weekend.
The film’s three-day gross stood at an impressive USD 1,856,503, showcasing Nani’s growing popularity in the overseas market, especially in the United States. The Sunday numbers only strengthened its run further — with the film collecting USD 143,683 by early evening alone, helping it comfortably surpass the $2 million mark.The film’s distributor Prathyangira Cinemas have shared posters on social media to confirm the numbers.
Interestingly, the film’s break-even target in the USA is pegged at around USD 2.3 million. What makes HIT 3’s performance even more remarkable is that by the end of its third day, the film had already earned over 75 % of the break even amount and setting the stage for a profitable run in the days ahead.

While Ajay Devgn's Raid 2 and Suriya’s Retro has also released on the same day- but Nani’s latest film has zoomed ahead from both the film by a huge margin. If the current momentum continues, the film is expected to breach the break-even point within the next day or two, turning profitable in one of the most crucial overseas territories for Telugu cinema.
By the end of the film, the makers gave a glimpse of the fourth installment which will be led by Karthi. The first two installments featured Vishwak Sen and Adivi Sesh in the lead. Nani who is also the producer of the franchise shared in an exclusive interview with ETimes that he has plans to bring together all the lead characters of the franchise for that one finale films like the Avengers.
