In comparison, The Final Reckoning, released on a Saturday, brought in Rs 44.18 crore (net) within its first four days, giving the predecessor a slight edge. Dead Reckoning had opened at Rs 12.3 crore on Wednesday but Final scored Rs 16 crore on its first Saturday. Although the numbers dropped sharply from Monday onward — a typical trend for major releases..However, when it comes to lifetime box office collections in India, Dead Reckoning still leads the race. The film had a much longer and steadier run, it went on to earn Rs 80.6 crore in the extended first week and it’s lifetime collection was Rs 110.3 crore.

It remains to be seen if The Final Reckoning can maintain its momentum in the coming days and challenge that figure.This box office clash highlights the enduring popularity of Tom Cruise’s action-packed franchise in India.
