The details surrounding the untimely passing of 'Friends' actor Matthew Perry have been unveiled with the release of his official death certificate.
The document sheds light on the circumstances of his tragic demise. It states that Perry, passed away at the age of 54 on Saturday, October 28 and was found lifeless at his residence, where he was discovered in his hot tub.
The document lists Perry's stepfather, Keith Morrison, as the "informant" for his death.
This only indicates that Morrison provided the necessary information for the completion of the death certificate.
The document was reportedly posted by The Blast, a site that provides the document for reference.
As previously reported, Perry was laid to rest at Forest Lawn cemetery in Los Angeles. His funeral ceremony was attended by relatives and all five of his castmates from the hit 1990s television sitcom "Friends", namely, "Friends" co-stars - Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer - were there, TMZ said.
Page Six said Perry's father, John Bennett Perry, and his stepfather, Keith Morrison, were also there.
Even though a copy of the death certificate has turned up online, the exact cause of his death has not yet been determined. Previous reports indicated that Perry was pending a comprehensive toxicology report which will likely take a month to complete.
