'Kesari Chapter 2', which released on April 18, is nearing the end of its third week in theatres, but is still struggling to make it past the Rs 100 crore mark.The legal drama stars Akshay Kumar as C. Sankaran Nair, the brave lawyer who fought against the British Raj to reveal the truth behind the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. The film that also features R. Madhavan as Advocate Neville McKinley and Ananya Panday as Dilreet Gill, continued its slow run at the box office, with its collections failing to rise above the Rs 1 crore mark.Since the start of its third week at the box office, 'Kesari 2' has seen a drop in its box office performance. The film that earned Rs 45 crore in its first week, followed by Rs 27.75 crore in its second week, earned just around Rs 8 crore over the first six days in its third week. The lowest numbers recorded came on Wednesday, with the movie earning an estimated Rs 50 lakh.
