Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson

Rajasthan Royals will host the

Pink Promise Match

against Mumbai Indians at the

Sawai Mansingh Stadium

in Jaipur on Thursday, continuing their commitment to support

women-led transformation

in Rajasthan.
The

Royal Rajasthan Foundation

(RRF), the CSR arm of Rajasthan Royals, launched a campaign film 'Aurat Hai Toh Bharat Hai' on International Women's Day.
The "Pink Promise" campaign from last year, supported by partners like Luminous, brought light to over 250 homes, impacting thousands of lives.

For the upcoming match, the Royals will contribute Rs 100 for every ticket purchased toward women-led rural transformation in Rajasthan.
All proceeds from the special all-pink Royals jersey sales will go directly to the Royal Rajasthan Foundation to support its social impact initiatives.
For every six hit during the match by either team, Rajasthan Royals and RRF will commit to lighting up six homes in the Sambhar region with solar power.
Rajasthan Royals and RRF plan to expand their efforts beyond solar energy into areas such as water access and sustainable livelihoods, with women continuing to lead change in Rajasthan.

Rajasthan Royals, currently languishing in eighth place, face a do-or-die situation in the

IPL 2025

. With just four matches remaining in the league stage, they must win all four to keep their slim playoff hopes alive. Their first hurdle? A high-stakes clash against the red-hot Mumbai Indians at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Thursday.
Rajasthan’s campaign derailed mid-season following three consecutive failed chases—against Gujarat Titans, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, and Delhi Capitals. In each of those games, the Royals held the upper hand at various stages but faltered in the crucial moments, even suffering a heartbreaking Super Over loss to Delhi.

What went wrong with CSK in IPL 2025

However, their most recent outing against Gujarat Titans brought a glimmer of hope. 14-year-old sensation

Vaibhav Suryavanshi

lit up the tournament by smashing the fastest-ever century by an Indian in IPL history. His electric partnership of 166 runs with Yashasvi Jaiswal powered Rajasthan to a record-breaking chase of 210 in just 15.5 overs—the quickest successful 200+ chase in the tournament’s history.
Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians are on a dream run. After a dismal start—winning only one of their first five matches—they’ve turned their season around spectacularly with five consecutive wins, propelling them to second place in the standings. This resurgence mirrors their 2020 title-winning campaign, when they last won five games in a row en route to lifting the trophy.
