for the upcoming tour of England is yet to be picked but the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is finalising the departure schedule of the players and support staff. It is reliably learnt that head coach Gautam Gambhir and first batch of Test players will leave for England on June 6 and the other batches will leave depending on the

IPL 2025

commitments of the players picked in the squad."The players who get free from the IPL during the league stage are likely to leave with coach Gambhir on June 6. Most of India's support staff is not in the country at the moment and there is a possibility of them linking up with the squad directly in England. The final word will be communicated to the players and support staff the moment the Test squad is announced.

As TimesofIndia.com had reported on May 5, the

India A squad

will leave for England in batches starting May 25. The players not in the IPL or the playoffs will board the flight with the first batch while the others will link-up with the squad at a later date. The India A squad was expected to be announced earlier this week but the new IPL schedule has forced the men's senior selection committee, led by Ajit Agarkar, to alter the plans.
