DU opens CSAS UG 2025 portal for admissions based on CUET scores
DU UG admission 2025: Delhi University (DU) has officially launched the UG admission portal for the academic year 2025-26 through the Common Seat Allocation System (UG) – CSAS(UG)-2025.
The portal, live at https://ugadmission.uod.ac.in, is the single-window platform for candidates seeking admission to DU undergraduate programmes based on their CUET (UG) 2025 scores. With the CSAS UG 2025 Phase 1 registration now open, candidates can apply for undergraduate admissions by filling out the online application form and paying the mandatory counselling fee. Phase 2 will begin after the CUET UG 2025 results are declared, tentatively in the third week of July 2025.New tie-breaker rules, auto-accept option introducedThis year’s admission process includes notable changes aimed at making counselling more efficient and equitable. A key update is the use of Class 10 board exam scores as an additional tie-breaker in cases where students have identical CUET and Class 12 marks. The admission portal has also been upgraded with an auto-accept feature to prevent students from inadvertently missing out on seat allotments.
Candidates are allowed to apply using a flexible subject combination—either one language and three subjects or two languages and two subjects. The combination that yields a higher CUET score will be considered. Moreover, the requirement of scoring at least 30% in language subjects for BSc (Hons) admissions has been eliminated.Wide range of programmes and quota optionsDU is offering 79 undergraduate programmes across 69 colleges, with 71,624 seats available.
Students can also choose from 186 B.A. Programme combinations. Admissions to all these courses will be handled via the CSAS UG portal, following eligibility rules outlined in the UG BOI-2025.Additionally, DU has launched skill-based UG courses under its Centre for Innovative Skill-Based Courses. Admissions are also open for five-year integrated law, BTech, and School of Open Learning (SOL) programmes. Most SOL PG courses will be based on CUET scores, except for MBA, BLISc, MLISc, and PGDADLM, which will continue with a merit-based admission process.Direct link to download the DU CSAS UG 2025 admission bulletinThree-phase admission process under CSAS(UG)-2025The CSAS UG admission process will occur in three distinct phases:• Phase I: Applying to University of Delhi• Phase II: Filling preferences for programmes and colleges• Phase III: Allocation-cum-admissionThe portal allows candidates to list multiple “Program + College” combinations, reorder preferences, and filter options using advanced tools.DU CSAS UG 2025 timelineHere are the key dates for DU CSAS UG 2025:
