CISCE 10, 12 results 2024: A comparative analysis of top-performing states and UTs

The much-anticipated results for the ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) examinations have been officially declared today on its official website. In this year's examination, the ICSE candidates have achieved an impressive pass percentage of 99.47%, while the ISC candidates have attained a remarkable pass percentage of 98.19%.
For ISC, several states/UTs have achieved a perfect pass percentage of 100%, including Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Chandigarh, Goa, Haryana, Manipur, Meghalaya, New Delhi, and Puducherry.

Similarly, in the ICSE results, several regions have also excelled, with 9 states/UTs achieving a perfect score of 100%. These include Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Chandigarh, New Delhi, Jammu & Kashmir, Goa, Nagaland, Manipur, Puducherry, Rajasthan, and Kerala, with Kerala leading with a pass rate of 99.96%.

Uttar Pradesh Sees Significant Rise in ICSE and ISC Pass Percentages
Uttar Pradesh celebrates a remarkable surge in pass percentages for both ICSE Class 10th and ISC Class 12th examinations in comparison to the previous year. The pass rate for ICSE Class 10th escalates to 99.14% from 98.40% in 2023, showcasing notable progress. Similarly, ISC Class 12th witnesses a substantial increase to 97.94% from 96.33% in the preceding year, underscoring the commendable performance of students statewide.

Odisha ICSE Results 2024: Girls Outshine Boys with Impressive Pass Rates
In Odisha, the pass rates are commendable, with a staggering 99.08% in Class X and a close 98.90% in Class XII. Notably, girls have outperformed boys with a remarkable pass percentage of 99.34%, while boys achieved a slightly lower pass rate of 98.86%.
In the Class X examinations, a total of 8,739 students from 93 schools across Odisha participated. Impressively, girls maintained their lead with a pass percentage of 99.34%, while boys achieved a respectable 98.85%. Similarly, in the Class XII examinations, 1,726 students from 33 schools in Odisha appeared. Here too, girls surpassed boys, securing a pass percentage of 98.95%, while boys achieved a close pass rate of 98.85%.
Karnataka pass percentage 2024: ICSE (Class 10) exam is 99.83%, ISC (Class 12) 99.49%
Karnataka has demonstrated exceptional academic excellence with a staggering pass percentage of 99.83% for the ICSE exam and 99.49% for the ISC exam. These impressive results were disclosed by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination on Monday morning, signifying Karnataka's remarkable performance in the realm of secondary and higher secondary education. Notably, Karnataka's achievement surpasses the combined overall results of both the country and abroad, where the national pass percentage stands at 99.47% for ICSE and 98.19% for ISC, respectively.
Furthermore, Karnataka's educational landscape boasts significant participation, with a total of 51 ISC schools and 405 ICSE schools presenting candidates for the exams. Within these schools, a noteworthy trend emerges as girls outshine boys in both the ICSE and ISC examinations. In class 10 exams, girls achieve an impressive pass percentage of 99.93%, surpassing boys who achieve 99.73%. Similarly, in ISC class 12 exams, girls attain a commendable pass percentage of 99.76%, slightly higher than boys at 99.18%. These results underscore the consistent academic prowess of female students in Karnataka and highlight the need for continued efforts to ensure gender equity and academic excellence in the state's educational system.
Kerala witnesses a pass percentage of 99.99 in ICSE
Kerala has demonstrated exceptional performance in the ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) examinations, surpassing the national average. The state has achieved remarkable pass percentages, with an outstanding 99.99% in the ICSE exams and an impressive 99.93% in the ISC exams.
