There are four base prices for the WPL 2025 auction. They are: Rs 50 lakh, Rs 30 lakh, Rs 20 lakh and Rs 10 lakh.
WPL Auction LIVE: Who make up the 120 players?
The list of 120 players includes 91 Indian and 29 overseas players, with 3 from Associate nations. From the 91 Indians, 82 are uncapped and nine are capped. Of the 29 overseas players, 8 are uncapped and 21 are capped.
WPL Auction LIVE: A quick look at the auction
At the WPL 2025 Auction, a total of 120 names are set to be auctioned but only 19 slots are to be filled by the five franchises.
Among the 29 overseas players, England skipper Heather Knight, West Indies all-rounder Deandra Dottin and South Africa’s Lizelle Lee are those with the biggest base price of Rs 50 lakh.
Other notable names that have entered the auction include England’s Lauren Bell and Maia Bouchier, Australia’s Darcie Brown and Lauren Cheatle, and South Africa’s Nadine de Klerk – all with a base price of Rs 30 lakh

The Women’s Premier League 2025 auction is slated to begin at 3pm IST and will be available to watch on Star Sports and Sports18. It will be live streamed on the JioCinema app and website.
