The West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) has released a notification for the recruitment to the post of constables in West Bengal Police 2024. As per the schedule, the application forms for WB Police Constable Recruitment 2024 will be accepted online during the period from 07.03.2024 to 05.04.2024.
The WBPRB aims to fill a total of 10255 vacancies for the post of Constables through this recruitment drive, out of which 7228 vacancies for male and 3027 vacancies for female candidates.

Age Limit
The applicants should be at least 18 years old but not older than 30 as of January 1st, 2024. Upper age limit is relaxable for reserved categories.
Educational Qualifications
The applicant must have passed the Madhyamik Examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent.
Language
Applicants should have proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing Bengali, except for permanent residents of the hill sub-divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong Districts. For them, the rules of the West Bengal Official Language Act, 1961 apply.

Step 1. Visit the official website at prb.wb.gov.in
Step 2. On the homepage, click on the WB Police Constable Registration Link 2024
Step 3. Register yourself and fill out the application form
Step 4. Upload the necessary documents and pay the fee
Step 5. Download and take a printout of the application form for future reference
Starting from April 8, 2024, applicants will have seven days to make edits or corrections to their personal information in the application form, except for their permanent state, mobile number, and email address. To do so, they must provide their application serial number or registered mobile number, along with their date of birth as originally entered in the application.
NVF/Home Guard personnel and Civic Volunteers/Village Police Volunteers currently working with the West Bengal Police and wishing to apply must have completed three years of service by January 1, 2024.
