Vivek Oberoi has had his share of relationships and heartbreak before getting married. His marriage to

Priyanka Alva

marked a new chapter in his life, and he has maintained a relatively private and low-profile personal life since then. In a new interview, Vivek talked about his journey from casual dating to being ready for a lasting relationship.
Speaking to

Anas Bukhash

on his YouTube channel, Vivek described himself as 'an all or nothing guy.' He said that he loves with all his heart but people like him get hurt.

And when he was hurt, it was very difficult.
After getting through a tough heartbreak, Vivek brought out his best flirtatious self and he was playing the field. It was a big ego kick but Vivek said that he was never

dishonest

. He wouldn't commit to somebody and leave. He would be straightforward and tell them I am not looking for anything serious. He also revealed that he stayed friends with a lot of his

casual girlfriends

and a lot of them even came to his

wedding

.

He then shared one incident from his Goa trip in 2009 where he met one international model on December 31 and they were in four days of non-committal relationship. But one day after partying a lot, he woke up and couldn't remember her name. It scared him. He went back to the bench and felt so alone and empty that he went back to the girl and said, 'I am done.’ He said that he had to make space for something real and wanted to detox.

Six months later, Vivek met his wife Priyanka on July 6 and the universe said 'you are ready.' "We have been together for 13 years, but we don’t have a moment of regret and it’s an amazing feeling,” he added.
In 2010, he got married to Priyanka Alva, a member of the prominent

Alva

family in Karnataka, India. The couple has two children, a son named Vivaan and a daughter named Ameyaa.
