Vikrant breaks silence on taking a break from acting

Actor Vikrant Massey recently sent fans and the film industry into a frenzy with his announcement on Instagram about taking a break from movies. Speaking at AajTak event, Vikrant explained the reasons behind his decision, revealing that it stemmed from a desire to prioritize his personal life and recalibrate after a whirlwind professional journey.
Sharing his thoughts, Massey said, “The life I had always dreamt of, I finally got it, so I thought it was time to live it. Everything in life is transient. This realization prompted me to step back, which is why I am only committing to one film next year.”
The actor, known for his candid nature, admitted that social media pressure played a role in his decision to share the news publicly. He said, “I live a public life, but I’m naturally introverted. If I had a choice, I would only come on social media selectively. However, I felt it was important to communicate my decision with my audience.”

for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “The Prime Minister hasn’t watched any films in the past decade, and mine was the only one he saw. That was a surreal and significant milestone for me,” he said.
Massey also revealed that the birth of his son had a profound impact on his perspective. “I realized I wasn’t spending quality time with my son or my wife. It became essential for me to pause and reflect on my roles as an actor, husband, son, and father. It was time to recalibrate and find balance,” he shared.

The actor expressed his intention to focus on honing his craft as an artist. “After achieving what I have professionally, I want to push myself further as an actor,” he concluded.
