Who can apply?
Candidates who fulfil the following criteria will be eligible to apply for UPTET recruitment examination:
For Paper I (Classes 1–5):
- Senior Secondary (Class 12) with minimum 50% marks and a 2-year D.El.Ed or B.El.Ed
- OR Graduate with 50% marks + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
- Final-year D.El.Ed students may also apply
For Paper II (Classes 6–8):
- Graduation + 2-year B.Ed or equivalent
- OR Senior Secondary with 50% + 4-year B.El.Ed/B.A.B.Ed/B.Sc.B.Ed
- Final-year B.Ed students are also eligible
