TN TRB Graduate Teacher Recruitment 2023: Exam postponed to Feb 4 due to heavy rains; Check official notice here

The Tamil Nadu Teacher Recruitment Board (TN TRB) has postponed the Graduate Teacher Recruitment 2023 due to

heavy rains

and subsequent flooding in the southern districts of the state.
The Teacher Recruitment Board has officially announced the postponement of exams following a request from the Chief Minister. The decision to reschedule the exams was made to accommodate employees in districts affected by heavy rains and floods, ensuring greater convenience for the candidates.

The TRB has released the notice on the official website at trb.tn.gov.in.
According to the exam postponement notification released, aspiring candidates will now be appearing for the exam on February 4, 2024 (Sunday).
Recently, the TRB had released the examination hall tickets for candidates who had registered to appear for the Graduate Teacher Recruitment. The exam was previously scheduled to be held in the month of January 2024.

The exam pattern includes two papers. Paper I involves a Compulsory Tamil Language Eligibility Test carrying 50 marks, while Paper II focuses on a subject-specific test with 150 marks. Both papers are conducted in an objective type format, featuring multiple-choice questions and utilizing the OMR format. The overall duration of the exam is 3 hours.
