Australia vs England T20 WC Live Score - England won the toss and chose to bowl first against Australia in their T20 World Cup match at Kensington Oval on Saturday. The English are unchanged despite a sloppy start against Scotland in their opener, which was eventually a washout. Australia made one change after dominating Oman, returning fast bowler Pat Cummins for Nathan Ellis. The match pits defending champion England against 50-over World Cup champion Australia. Playing XIs England : Phil Salt, Jos Buttler (captain), Will Jacks, Jonny Bairstow, Harry Brook, Liam Livingstone, Moeen Ali, Chris Jordan, Jofra Archer, Adil Rashid, Mark Wood. Australia : David Warner, Travis Head, Mitchell Marsh (captain), Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, Josh Inglis, Tim David, Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Adam Zampa, Josh Hazlewood.
It's hot, but there's a nice breeze blowing across the ground, at a speed of 25 kmph. 58m and 67m square boundaries, the straight hit is at 72m. A fresh pitch today, but t's very similar to the other pitches, there are cracks at both ends. The average score in the 1st innings is 143, you can add another 10-15 runs considering the teams featuring today, but this ain't a 180-190 run wicket.

We would have bowled first as well, it's dictated by the conditions and the weather. We have come here to win the tournament and today is a big match. Great feeling (on captaincy), I have a lot of experienced players around who are big match winners. It's going to be a good challenge and we're confident going into the game. One change, Pat Cummins replaces Nathan Ellis
Australia skipper Mitchell Marsh at the toss
We are going to bowl first. Little bit unsure about the weather. Always a pleasure to play a WC game against Australia in Barbados. Couple of areas where we can work on, we have trained and prepared well, excited for the game. We've done well against them in recent games, but past form doesn't matter. We're unchanged, lots of options in the squad.

A win is a win, it doesn't derail us either way. We know we've got to win more games than we lose in tournament cricket. A win puts you in a position in the group which is obviously more favourable, but the other two games that we've got post this are must-win games anyway.
England keeper-batter Jonny Bairstow
I dare say this will be full and it'll be mostly English fans, so it'll be like playing at Headingley – or anywhere in England where you get sprayed. Just the atmosphere, the vibe of the game, there's always a lot riding on it. As a team we always want to challenge ourselves against the best. England have been exceptional in this format for a long period of time now, so there's certainly going to be a lot on the game and we're pumped.

AUS vs ENG Live Score - Maxwell the weak link?
While Australia's batting looks settled, the misfiring Glenn Maxwell remains a missing link. After enduring a shipwreck of an IPL campaign with Royal Challengers Bengaluru recently, the ‘Big Show' got out for a first-ball duck against Oman. The 2021 champions will be eager to see Maxwell return to his best at the earliest, and a match against England offers him a perfect occasion.
AUS vs ENG Live Score - Will Cummins get a spot in XI?
The Australian bowlers were potent against Oman even without Pat Cummins, who had a reasonable outing for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL. Nathan Ellis played ahead of Cummins in that game, but Australia might bring back the premier pacer against a much more formidable opponent.
AUS vs ENG Live Score - England batters need to fire in unison
Bowling is just one part, as the English batters under skipper Jos Buttler, who had a good run in the IPL 2024, will have to fire in unison against the Aussie attack.

AUS vs ENG Live Score - Australia batters eye big runs
Scottish openers George Munsey and Michael Jones scored freely against all England bowlers, and Australia carry far more lethal guns in their line-up. David Warner and Marcus Stoinis showed the extent of damage they can do while outclassing Oman in their tournament opener. Once again, there will be a lot of focus on Jofra Archer, who gave away 12 runs in two overs against Scotland, as the pacer continues his comeback trail into top-flight cricket.
AUS vs ENG Live Score - England bowlers under scrutiny
Holders England will look to re-stitch their T20 World Cup campaign through an improved bowling effort when they face ‘old' rival Australia in a Group B match in Bridgetown. England's opening game against Scotland was rained off after the latter made 90 for no loss in 10 overs, forcing the teams to take home a point each. But even those 60 balls showed the need for England to buckle up in the bowling department, to begin with.
