, has now shared a touching family moment that took place when their father, Rakesh Roshan, made the announcement for the first time.
During a conversation with Pinkvilla, Sunaina revealed the emotional moment that occurred between her and her father, director Rakesh Roshan, as he disclosed that Hrithik would be making his directorial debut with '

Krrish 4

.' “He said, ‘I'm announcing Krrish.’ I said, ‘Wow, that's amazing.’ And he goes, ‘Well, your brother is directing it.’ And he started crying, I started crying,” she shared.

Sunaina is proud that her brother is now carrying forward their father Rakesh’s legacy with 'Krrish 4.' “I'm damn sure he'll make a good director because even when he was an assistant director, he used to suggest changes to Dad in the scenes,” she stated.

She also said, “It's still overwhelming for me to think that my brother is now turning into a director. I have never seen Dad cry, so that was overwhelming too.” She called it a proud moment.

Earlier this year, Rakesh Roshan announced that Hrithik would be taking over the role of director for 'Krrish 4'. Around the same time, Sunaina also posted on Instagram, referring to the film as “Papa and Duggu’s dream project”.
There are numerous reports about Priyanka Chopra making a comeback to the franchise alongside Hrithik. The film is scheduled to begin production in early 2026.
