, the mother of Anil Kapoor and Boney Kapoor, passed away on May 2 at the age of 90. According to ANI, she died in Mumbai. Following the news of her demise, numerous Kapoor family members were seen gathering at Boney Kapoor’s residence in Mumbai on Friday afternoon.

A recent paparazzi footage shows Janhvi Kapoor standing outside the house, occupied with texting on her phone while engaging in conversation with Shikhar Pahariya, who appeared to have his left hand in a sling. The pair chatted near the main entrance as other family members and close friends arrived. Boney Kapoor was also spotted briefly speaking with a few individuals outside the front door.

Last September, Anil commemorated his mother's 90th birthday by sharing a collection of cheerful family photographs on his X account. Nirmal Kapoor was the wife of the late film producer Surinder Kapoor. She is survived by her four children: Boney Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, and Reena Kapoor Marwah.

On the work front, Janhvi Kapoor's upcoming projects include Neeraj Ghaywan's 'Homebound', premiering at the Cannes Film Festival in May under the Un Certain Regard section; she is expected to attend with co-stars Ishaan Khatter and Vishal Jethwa. Janhvi will also star alongside Ram Charan in his 16th film, titled 'Peddi', directed by Buchi Babu Sana and featuring Shiva Raj Kumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyenndu.
