Shahid Kapoor confirms Farzi season 2

Shahid Kapoor has adapted to the rise of OTT with his first show

, though his second outing Bloody Daddy didn’t attract much audience. The actor recently attended an event where he confirmed the second season of Farzi.

During his conversation with Pinkvilla he confirmed that the season will happen. He shared that the first season got a tremendous response from the audience and the makers have left the story in a very open-ended way so there is an opportunity for a lot more to happen and it was not the end.

He also added that he hasn’t said yes to anything else on the OTT as he has multiple theatrical releases lined up and will be busy with them.

Farzi was directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK. It featured names like

Vijay Sethupathi

, Kay Kay Menon,

Raashii Khanna

and Bhuvan Arora in key roles. Shahid will now be seen with Kriti Sanon in a yet to be titled film, backed by Dinesh Vijan and scheduled to be released during the Valentine’s Day weekend in 2024. He also has a thriller backed by Siddharth Roy Kapur with Pooja Hegde, to be directed by Roshan Andrew.
