fans have been eagerly waiting for

SEVENTEEN

's 11th mini album, impressively titled '

SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN

'. However,

S.Coups

' health scare has come as a curveball for the band.
The leader has decided to press pause for a journey of healing and recovery. The unfortunate took place in August when S.Coups found himself injured, nursing a sore knee, a result of a dramatic leap during a ball game meant for content shooting.

And now it has been revealed that S.Coups is going to miss out on most of the group's upcoming promotional activities for their 11th mini album, a definite blow for fans, but also a testament to prioritizing health and wellness.
Announcing the same, PLEDIS Entertainment shared in an official statement, "We would like to provide you with some information regarding SEVENTEEN member S.Coups’s promotional activities for the group’s 11th Mini Album. S.Coups sustained a tear in his left anterior cruciate ligament and underwent anterior cruciate ligament and anterolateral ligament reconstruction surgery. He is currently receiving post-surgery care and is focusing on his recovery. It has been almost two months since he underwent this surgery, and he is currently recovering. However, the affected area is still in a vulnerable state. Rehabilitation treatment is crucial at this stage, and he has received medical advice that it would be best to avoid any physically taxing activities for the time being."
"The artist was deeply committed to participating in the pre-scheduled activities. However, we believed that it was in his best interest to prioritize his recovery and rehabilitation above all else at this time. Therefore, it will be difficult for S.Coups to participate in most of his official activities including SEVENTEEN’s promotional activities for their 11th Mini album SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN. Thank you very much for your kind understanding. We will do our very best to support S.Coups so that he can meet his fans as his healthiest self again," concuded the statement.

Additionally, S.Coups also took to Weverse to address the concern and stated, “I wanted to participate in activities as much as I could, but I’ll take a break for a while to focus on rehabilitation so I can see you all in the long term. You don’t like it when I apologize, so rather than feeling sorry, I’ll strengthen my resolve and work harder on my recovery to show you a healthier me as soon as possible.”
