Candidates interested in applying for the positions must have completed their 10th class education and hold an ITI qualification in the relevant trade, or possess a Diploma/Degree in Engineering in a relevant field. Additionally, applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 30 years as of July 1, 2025, with relaxation for reserved categories.
Selection process and exam pattern
The selection process for RRB ALP 2025 will consist of multiple stages. The first stage is the Computer-Based Test (CBT 1), which is qualifying in nature. Those who pass CBT 1 will proceed to CBT 2, which is followed by the Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT). The final stages include document verification and a medical examination.
The exam pattern for CBT 1 includes 75 questions from Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Science, and General Awareness. CBT 2 is more detailed, with a mix of technical knowledge and general subjects. Candidates will be evaluated based on their performance in these stages, with the final merit list taking into account the CBT 2 score and CBAT performance.
