Sunny Deol's son

Rajveer Deol

recently made his debut with '

Dono

'. The film saw him alongside Poonam Dhillon's daughter Paloma Dhillon and was directed by

Sooraj Barjatya

's son Avnish Barjatya. During a recent interview Rajveer spoke about the time when his father Sunny was going through a low phase in his career and people were calling him out, or just questioning his work and relevance. He admitted that he was getting hurt as a child, to see people doubting him.
Rajveer said during an interview with Bollywood Bubble that he used to get hurt, but Sunny never went out in the media to address anything or didn't do any extra PR. "I used to get hurt because I could not understand why wouldn’t he do anything about it. He never went out in the media or addressed it or anything. He didn’t try to do anything extra or a PR campaign to recover his image. That’s when I realized he has such a tough back. In polite words, he doesn’t give a s***. He’s really what you call a proper man right there. A person who just goes through murky waters and just continues, does what he believes and is such a pure soul. I can’t explain that journey of me experiencing that. All I can say in simple words, that’s a person who’s never going to give up," said Rajveer.
But Sunny eventually proved himself and gave a tight slap to naysayers with his work, with the success of '

Gadar 2

'. The film crossed Rs 500 crores at the box office and it is now the second highest grossing Hindi movie of all time.
Recently, Sunny had also spoken about his son Rajveer and said that he's so proud of the way he has overcome his shortcomings in school, because he had dyslexia.
