During his candid chat with ETimes, Rajkummar shared how Patralekhaa didn’t need to apply

“She didn’t need mehndi because her husband already loved her a lot,” he said with a smile, adding a touch of old-school romance to their modern-day love story.
When asked how he would rate himself as a boyfriend, Rajkummar confessed, “I would say out of 10… 9 and a half and as a husband 10 and a half out of 10.” The extra half mark, he explained, made up for the moments as a boyfriend when work commitments kept him away. “Maybe giving less time… if I was at home, she would be working. Despite the rocky start, fate had other plans. A casual conversation at a food court revealed that Patralekhaa had starred in a few commercials. And Rajkummar had happened to see that film and while looking at her in the ad, he happened to say to himself that what a pretty girl she is and I would like to marry her.
