, has been named the
ICC Men's Player of the Month
for October. The award recognizes his outstanding performance in the recent Test series against England.
Noman's performance surpassed those of South African fast bowler Kagiso Rabada and New Zealand spinner Mitchell Santner. This makes him the first Pakistani male player to receive the honor since Babar Azam in August of the previous year.
Noman expressed his gratitude to his teammates for their contribution to Pakistan's series victory against England after an initial setback. He acknowledged their collective effort in achieving this historic win on home soil.

Noman's impact was evident in his two Test match appearances in October, where he recorded impressive figures of 11/147 and 9/130. His exceptional bowling played a crucial role in Pakistan's ability to bounce back from an early defeat and secure their first Test series victory at home in three years.
In the second Test, Pakistan set a target of 297 runs for England. Noman delivered a game-changing performance, claiming his career-best Test figures of 8/46.
This exceptional bowling display propelled Pakistan to their first Test victory on home ground since 2021.
Noman's impressive form continued in the final Test match in Rawalpindi.
Coming in to bat at number nine with Pakistan's score at 177/7, he played a vital innings of 45 runs. This resilient knock helped Pakistan establish a crucial 77-run lead in the first innings.
He further contributed to Pakistan's dominant nine-wicket victory in the final Test with a six-wicket haul. His exceptional bowling performance restricted England to a mere 112 runs.
