The education minister of Rajasthan, B.D. Kalla, told the house on Tuesday that about 30 to 40 percent of questions in Rajasthan's competitive examinations are related to the state's culture and history. Kalla said that this allows local candidates to have an advantage in recruitment. Kalla also said that there is currently no provision for reserving jobs for local people only. Kalla also said that a proposal to recognize Rajasthani as a language is under consideration.
