We wanted to bat first as well. Yes we are hosting the Champions Trophy but the conditions will be different but the squad will remain 70% the same. The guys are looking forward to the series. We have three seamers and one spinner.

Mohammad Rizwan - Pakistan captain

We are going to bat first. Looks a pretty good wicket and a typical Paarl wicket. Most of the game will be played under lights and the ball will come on nicely. We have to keep adapting as batters. We don't have too many ODIs before the Champions Trophy, it is nice to build up and show in this series. We have two spinners - Keshav and Shamsi, three seamers.

Aiden Markram - SA skipper
