Kabir opens up on getting married four times

Kabir Bedihas gotten married four times and has always been vocal and honest about his relationships. The actor however admitted in a recent interview that he was always emotional in all his relationships and never had any one night stand.

Kabir first married Protima Bedi in 1969. He then married Susan Humphreys in 1980. His third wife was Nikki Bedi, whom he married in 1992, and they divorced in 2005. Kabir then married Parveen and they are together till date.Kabir has earlier revealed that he had an open marriage with Protima and they had first lived together which became a huge scandal. He opened up on his relationships during an interview with BBC Hindi when he was asked that he served an inspiration to others by his ability to get into different relationships.

He said, “Who am I to empower others? But I will admit that there were times when I was indiscriminate in my choice of women.

But if I am equally honest, if I look at my significant relationships, none of these were one-night stands.”

Talking about his marriages, he said, “My first marriage lasted for 7 years. My second marriage also lasted for around 7-8 years. Third marriage lasted for 15 years. My current marriage with Parveen Dosanjh, we have been together for 19 years.

We have only been married for 9 years but before that, we were together for 10 years.”He revealed further that he never had any one night stand or short relationship. “These relationships are not short relationships. There might be many. It’s possible that some people might not marry 4 times but all my relationships were good, long but the thing that I am most proud of is that with all my ex-wives and I have remained friends.”
