As per a News18 report, Jr NTR began learning Kuchipudi at a young age and was encouraged by his mother, Shalini Bhaskar Rao.

She recognized his natural talent and pushed him to pursue formal training. Under the guidance of renowned Kuchipudi guru Sudhakar Durgam, Jr NTR devoted over 13 years to perfecting this classical dance. His dedication took him to stages not only across India but also internationally, including performances in the United States and the United Kingdom.Coming from a family with a rich cinematic legacy—his grandfather, the legendary Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, was a superstar and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh—Jr NTR was destined for the silver screen.

Today, Jr NTR is not only a leading actor in Telugu cinema but also gearing up for his Bollywood debut with the film 'War 2', where he stars alongside Hrithik Roshan. Additionally, he is collaborating with Prashanth Neel, the director known for the blockbuster 'KGF' and 'Salaar' series, on another highly anticipated project rumored to be titled 'Dragon'.
