Jharkhand PECE 2025: Counselling registration begins at jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in; check key dates here

The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has officially started the counselling process for admissions into diploma-level engineering courses through the Polytechnic Entrance Competitive Examination (PECE) 2025.

Candidates who cleared the PECE 2025 exam can now take part in the counselling process by registering online via the official website: jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in.The counselling will be conducted in three rounds and seats will be allocated based on a candidate’s rank, category, and the preferences they submit. Only those whose names appear in the merit list and who have been declared qualified in the Jharkhand PECE 2025 result, are eligible to participate.As per the official timeline, the deadline to register for the first round and fill in your choices is July 8, 2025. The first allotment list will be published on July 13 and candidates can download provisional allotment letters from July 14 to July 19.

Counselling fee structure

Candidates must pay a non-refundable registration fee to participate in the counselling process:• ₹400 for candidates belonging to General, EWS, BC-I, and BC-II categories• ₹250 for candidates from SC, ST categories and all female candidates• To receive a provisional allotment letter, candidates also need to pay a partial admission fee of ₹1,000, which will be adjusted later during final admission.

However, if a candidate does not take admission after seat allotment, this amount will be forfeited.

IMPORTANT: Candidates who are allotted a seat in the first round and wish to change their branch or institute can still participate in the second round of counselling. However, if a new seat is allotted to them in this round, their previously allotted seat will automatically be cancelled and they must join the new institute/branch.
