Jaya chats with paps at Hema's b'day bash

Yesterday, the Dream Girl of Bollywood, Hema Malini turned 75, and brought in a her big day in a grand manner. The actor's family threw her a glittering birthday bash, that was attended by the who's who of tinsel town. The birthday girl looked the most gorgeous in a peach shimmer saree. Meanwhile, daughter Esha Deol also made a stunning statement in a gold gown.

On the other hand, Jaya Bachchanalso arrived at the party and looked quite stylish in a kurta set along with a gajra.

While she earlier straight away walked to the party, she later posed for the paparazzi with Padmini Kolhapure and was all smiles. While usually

hates the shutterbugs, she made an exception for this time around. However, when a pap asked her to pose in a particular way, she replied in her signature style, "aap itne directions mat dijiye na" (please don't give so many directions)

Going back to the big bash, amongst the first ones to arrive was Salman Khan, who as always had his swag on. One also saw Jackie Shroff, Subhash Ghai, Anupam Kher. The evergreen Rekha looked like a million bucks in an ivory saree and she posed with Vidya Balan.
Not only that, it was heartwarming to see Rekha pose with Jackie, Rani, Esha and have a fun banter with the paps. Madhuri Dixit also arrived later with her husband and posed with

and Rekha. Shilpa Shetty arrived with her sister Shamita and mother Sunanda Shetty. One also saw Jeetendra along with Rakesh Roshan and Tusshar Kapoor arriving for the party. Raveena Tandon also made a ravishing appearance.

While on Hema, in an recent interview, Hema said that the most beautiful gift she has received on her birthday was when she was very busy working on films. From 1975 to 1985, the actress doesn’t think she rested even one day. She was continuously working. She was shooting for Sholay one day, then going to Afghanistan for Dharmatma, then going to Russia, and within two months coming back to shoot in Nasik. She played so many different kinds of roles in her personal life, too.
