PITCH REPORT - It's a hot day in Abu Dhabi as Niall O'Brien steps in to give his pitch report. He mentions that pitch number 5 is being used at this venue today. Vernon Philander joins the discussion, noting that there's some grass on the surface, which bowlers will need to exploit early on. He points out that while the grass will aid bowlers, it will also offer batters a chance to ride the bounce well. According to Philander, bowlers will need to flirt with the outside edge to be effective on this track. O'Brien adds that in the last 10 matches, teams batting first have won seven times, with Philander concluding that a score of 280 should be competitive for the side batting first.
