has released the merit list of qualified candidates for 1,664 posts of apprentices.
Candidates who appeared for the exam can check the released the merit list on the official website of Railway Recruitment Cell Prayagraj at rrcpryj.org.

The RRC has also notified that the Document Verification (DV) round will begin in December 28, 2024, and go on till January 04, 2023.

The notice reads, "The work of document verification under Act Apprentice 01/2023 was proposed to be done at the Railway Recruitment Cell, Prayagraj office, from 26.12.2023 to 04.01.2024. Due to administrative reasons, the said program is being extended from 28.12.2023 to 04.01.2024. The list of suitable candidates, cutoff, and admit cards will be available on the official website of this office www.rrcpryj.org from today, 26.12.2023. To offer an additional chance to candidates who were absent due to unavoidable reasons during document verification, the date of 04.01.2024 has been fixed."
The notice also stated that, candidates who fail to attend the document verification even during the final opportunity will not be granted any further chances. No representations or claims in this regard will be considered or accepted.

As of now, the Railway Recruitment Cell has announced the list of candidates for the period of 28 & 29 December 2023. Candidate whose registration number is mentioned in the result PDF will be required to report to the office of Railway Recruitment Cell, Nawab Usuf Road near Balmiki Chauraha, Prayagraj. The result PDF also stipulates the time at which the candidate will be required to report to the venue.
The mode of selection for training under the Apprentice Act includes a merit list based on the average percentage of marks in Matriculation (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) and ITI examination, with equal weightage to both. Shortlisted candidates, up to 1.5 times the notified vacancies, will undergo document verification process. In case of tied marks, preference will be given to older applicants or those who passed the matriculation exam earlier.
The final merit list will be prepared unit-wise, trade-wise, and community-wise in descending order of marks. Applicants are required to upload their application and documents online; no physical copies should be sent to RRC-NCR by post.
